For tolerance to be a virtue, it must be felt and practiced in God’s way, not the world’s way. When we try to practice godly virtues in the way the world wants us to, then we are halting between two opinions—Kerry M. Muhlestein

HOLA HOLA HOLA!!!
Another week in Guatemala!!! so like I said last week, Elder Russell M. Nelson traveled down to Central America to speak with 6 of the missions down here but contrary to previous plans, he spoke in El Salvador instead of here because of the riots and such in Guatemala!! It’s super dangerous to gather in large groups right now because the president has been stealing money or something so lots of places are closed for rioting.  so he spoke from El Salvador -but the meeting was still incredible!! Luckily he doesn’t speak Spanish so i was actually able to understand him, he spoke of the importance of keeping our standards and never following the worlds ways!! He is such an incredible speaker and it was awesome to hear him talk and he gave us "virtual handshakes" since he couldn’t give them to us in real life! He’s funny!! he told us that we were lucky to be watching him through a broadcast because a lady once told him that he looks a lot better on tv than in real life!!
wow i understood a few more words in church this week so I’m pretty proud of that! Every lesson that we have with investigators or contacts, they are always so grateful for the Little things that they have and are such a humble people!! They work from 5 or 6 in the morning to 7 or 8 at night simply to be able to provide food for their family that day.  On Sunday, we had a lesson on the importance of food storage and these people can barely feed themselves day to day let alone have money to make up a food storage and its humbling to see how grateful they still are!! They are awesome!
i struggle introducing myself because I’m used to saying Morris but they pronounce it like mourrrrrrrrrrris so i have to stop and think about how to try and pronounce my own name and its funny because I’m pretty sure they think i don’t even know my own name!!!
Singing is super funny because they love to sing but don’t know how to read so just echo what we say without a tune and its great.  The primary that consisted of 9 kids got up and sang i want to be a missionary now which was super cute and they were all bright and smiling!! i love the Little kids here!! Hopefully you’ll have a great week!! love you!!!
Con amor,

Hermana Morris #3!!
