We went to a beautiful waterfall
on p-day. And made a lot of new contacts
this past week. Our zone made the goal
of 2 baptisms per companionship, so we received a celebration meal with the
mission president. We got up about
4:20am to pick everyone up in our zone and get to the mission home… American
food—YUMMY! I even had real milk to drink—so fun!
We had an excursion up the
mountains where a lady lived and by the time we were heading home it was
getting dark and that is kind of a scare time to be in the hills… but her big
dogs walked in front of us like they were our guards and barked and made us
fill so protected.
GC was so amazing…the best
ever! I came with questions in my mind
and it felt like every talk was just for me!
Our new apostles were amazing and
the story about the lost keys while skiing and how a car has no power or
abilities without the keys—wow powerful, our church is the only one with Gods
keys! LOVE that analogy!

There were lots of talks that
brought in Lehi’s dream with the tree of life and the great and spacious
building… this is the world we live in!

The more we listen to the HG the
more He will direct our lives.
And Elder Hollands amazing wrap
up of conference. We didn’t get ice
cream though.
“Your greatest work: your most
important creation is and will ever be you. What kind of person will you
become? By this I do not mean what role in life will you take. I don't mean
will you be a cowboy, lawyer, surfer, homemaker, engineer, computer programmer,
accountant or the like. I do not refer to what kind of car you will drive; what
kind of clothes you will wear; what kind of house you will live in; what kind
of spouse you will marry or what kind of family will you raise. I mean, when
all of that is removed and there you stand alone, who will YOU be?
We plan many things in life. But,
have you planned your greatest work? Have you envisioned who you will become?
Do you plan for what kind of person you want to become? Can you see in your
mind who you want to be? Do you know? Overall there is a choice between the
qualities of light or the qualities of darkness: Choose the light!

confusion or doubt or spiritual withdrawal? Or is our first response to

mind and in our heart and in our soul? Is our heavenly parentage our first and
most profound identity? This identity should supersede other worldly
