WOW so I almost just chopped the head off my companion, swinging
my chair around the room, so excited for the news of Benjamin!! he’s coming to
guatemala!!! that is sooo freakin cool!! wahoo!!
It’s been raining super hard and the river actually rose up so
much this last week that it ran over the road, and took a motorcyclist and his
bike into the river, and they have yet to find him.
The other day, we were looking for this reference we got, and
decided to hike up Mt. Everest, only to find out that we went the wrong way,
and had to go back, and hike up the Mt. where frodo threw in the ring-our area
is nothing but up…its sooo great!! i love it!!
We have found a super pilas family, and we were teaching them,
and i had the strongest impression to share with them an experience, and then
the father opened up, and started sharing his own story, and something similar
that had happened, and how he had been praying to hear these words…it was a
tender mercy for me, and i love the spirit so much!! It is sooo true that if we
open our mouths, they will be filled with the exact things we need to say!
This last week, Papi Caffaro sent home 9
missionaries from our mission. We have
all been focusing in on the importance of exact obedience, and how we will be
blessed... We currently have like 151 missionaries, when president Caffaro
started off with 260 about 2 years ago, but we have been reaching goals that
those almost 300 missionaries never met!
We have really seen some awesome miracles, and this last week we had 100
baptisms as a mission! President always says, we need to do more with less!
With trying to be the best followers of Christ, we are becoming more and more
like Him, and as we come to love and appreciate Him, we have less of a desire
to do wrong, and we continue to repent to become more like Him!! our motto of
the mission is "love more, judge less (amar mas, juzgar menos)" and
as we strive to love people, and look for the good because everyone has it, we
stop looking for the negative in people! We were challenged to write a list of
20 people who have influenced us for good, and to write a good quality about
every one of them, and i hope you can all do this as well.
It’s awesome to think about all the great
people that have influenced our lives!! i love you all tons, and want to thank
every person who has had a good impact on my life! you are awesome! You are
saviors on mount Zion!! and i love you!!! Thanks for your great examples, and
the way you have impacted my life! i know this church is true! it is the restored
church of Christ, who leads and guides us! He loves us! He wants us to return
to him, and has made it perfectly possible!! We need to put our trust in him,
and know that he knows what is best for us!! also, felicidades a Ben!!!
Guatemala ciudad central!! que pilas!! i met the mission president there, and
he is super cool!! Good luck!!
